SWLU: Galaxy In Chaos is an addon for SWLU that aims to bring the many locations in the star wars galaxy into X3. Update 1.1.5 brings out more sectors than ever to explore with new Star Wars lasers that look so so pretty. You should really see how much fun the SPHAT’s are.
How to install:
1. Make sure you have a clean install of X3:TC and X3:AP.
2. Follow all of the steps to install Litcubes Universe
3. Install SWLU to your LU installation.
4. Download the latest version of Galaxy in Chaos.
5. Extract all of the files inside the x3 terran conflict folder in the .zip to your X3 Terran Conflict folder in your LU installation (literally just a drag in drop)
6. Have fun!
It is recommended to make another SWLU install when using this map, as if you want to revert back to normal SWLU, you will have to get another install of X3LU.
Signs of a broken installation:
1. Your welcome message does not have the current version of Galaxy In Chaos on it.
2. There are a bunch of =TextIdNotFound= sectors and/or old X3 sector names.
As this is a different map, there will be abandoned ships in different locations. Please try not to leak these as I will have to relocate them in a new update.
If you have a previously exported SWLU game, you cannot import it into this map, as this map does not contain all of the sectors from the original X Universe map.
More info:
– There are now 4 major factions (Empire, Rebels, Pirates, Xenon) instead of 7, and the remaining factions are deemed “minor factions” (CIS, CSA, Mandalorians, Jedi).
– The Xenon are still in this map despite it being changed to the star wars galaxy, except you will just have to find them.
– SCH’s are available at: Entralla, Sluis Van, and Corellia.
– PHQ’s are available at: Kuat, and Golrath.
– Plutarch Tractor System available at: Sluis Van (Plutarch HQ), and Coruscant (Orbital Shield Array).
– Original X3 Race ships will be available in certain sectors that are owned by their parent race.

- THE BATTLE FOR ENDOR: Now a scripted hotzone. The player will be notified when the battle will start when they reach a high enough notoriety with one of the participating races, and upon jumping to the system the battle will start. This will help performance.
- THE SIEGE AT RINGO VINDA: Non-scripted set of 3 hotzones in the galactic north.
- Sound Effect Updates Sound Effect Updates Sound Effect Updates Sound Effect Updates. By the way did I mention Sound Effect updates?
- Soundtrack revision: Some non-star wars soundtracks that may have been added have been removed in favor of time period accurate songs.
- Balance Changes:
- Naboo Starfighter is now an M4 with increased shielding, energy efficiency, and durability at the cost of most of its speed.- Enforcer Picket Cruiser has had its speed decreased significantly.
- Most Republic ships that could only equip the Energy Bolt Chaingun can now also equip TIE fighter weapons. Separatist Capital Ships can now use Ion Cannons.
- The Captor class munitions cruiser can now use actual CIS medium weaponry.
- Fixed the Vindicator Class Heavy cruiser being able to equip almost every laser in the game for some reason.
- The Old Republic/Sith ships can no longer equip most heavier modern weapons. They have their own set of weapons now to compensate.
- New Ship: Marauder Artillery Platform- Its missile launchers have been replaced by extra lasers and better energy capacity/recharge
- New Laser: CIS Siege Battery- CIS dedicated heavy anti-ship weapon/heavy artillery turbolaser. Effective at siege range (>20km).
- New Laser: SPHAT Cannon- Republic SPHAT cannon to be installed on prototype ships. They are an ST class ware and are 25000 volume so you can really only fit ~2 of them on the Venator prototype. Can beam M6s to death instantly. Cannot be built with a traditional factory.
- New Laser: DBY Turbolaser Cannon- Republic mainline turbolaser. Separate from the Fusion Beam Cannon which looks, acts, and sounds more like an ion cannon.
- New Laser: Superheavy Quad Ion Cannon- Very heavy ion cannon armament for Mon Calamari ships. Deals 4x the damage at the cost of being more sluggish, consuming 4x the amount of energy, and firing significantly slower. Effective at siege range (>20km).
- New Laser: Ancient Rapid-fire Dual Turbolaser- Heavier weapon solution for Old Republic/Sith ships.
- Visual Changes:
- All lasers now look significantly longer and thinner in the same manner as the Concussion Impulse Generator/Ion Pulse Generator. Thus they are more recognizable in a battle. Lasers identified as “dual” or “quad” turbolasers actually look the part too.
- New Ecumonopolis planet texture for Coruscant, Empress Teta etc. THIS OVERWRITES LU’S TPLANETS FILE AND WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH GRAPHICAL MODS WITH THEIR OWN TPLANETS IMPLEMENTATION!
